What payroll, finance and HR teams need to know to prepare for Ireland’s auto-enrolment pension regime from January 2026.

After more than a decade in development, Ireland’s new pensions auto-enrolment regime is set to transform how employers manage workplace retirement savings. With the Automatic Enrolment Retirement Savings Scheme Act now in place, employers will soon face mandatory obligations to enrol qualifying employees, make contributions, and interact with new state-backed pension infrastructure.
This practical webinar provides a clear, employer-focused overview of the new Irish auto-enrolment framework and what organisations need to do to prepare. Drawing on international experience from jurisdictions such as the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Scandinavia, the session highlights best practice approaches, common pitfalls, and operational lessons learned elsewhere.
Designed for payroll, finance, HR and advisory professionals, the webinar focuses on how the rules will work in practice, how payroll processes will need to change, and how employers can prepare early to avoid compliance failures and unnecessary cost.
